1.Encourage effort,not just results
Praise your child for trying their best rather than focusing only on success.when children learn that effort matters,they become more willing to take on new challenges.
Example:Instead of saying.”You are so smart,”say i am proud of how hard you worked on that project.
2.Give then responsibilities
Small responsibiliies help children feel capable and trusted.Assign age-appropriate tasks such as organizing their school bag,helping with household chores,or caring for a pet.
3.Allow them to make decision
Giving children opportunities to make choices helps them develop independence and confidence.Let them choose their Clothes,hobbies or weekend activities when appropriate.
4.Teach positive self-talk
Children often doubt themselves when things go wrong.Teach them to replace negitive thoughts with positive ones.
5.Suppport their interest
Every child has unique talents and interest.Whether it is sport,art,reading,music or technology,encourage them to explore activities they enjoy and celebrate their progress.
6.Help them learn from mistake
Mistakes are a natural part of leaening.Teach children that failure does not define them.Encourage them to see mistake as opportunities to improve and grow.
7.Create a loving and supportive environment
Children develop confidence when they feel loved,respected and accepted.Listen to their concerns,encourage open communication,and remind them that your support is always available.
